Test drive SSO

This article shows you how to set up Single Sign On (SSO) on the IBM i
platform. SSO allows you to sign on to your primary workstation and then
access other systems and applications without having to sign on again. You’ll
learn how to set up all the required software and how to verify each step has
completed properly before continuing to the next. Soon you’ll be using 5250
Emulation, NetServer, IBM System i Navigator, IBM WebSphere® Application
Server and the Java™ Toolbox to access your IBM i system without having to
sign on to each. Please note that there are several different components that
all have to work together, so the time required to implement SSO will depend
on how comfortable you are with each of the components, but generally expect
to spend several days.
