2) Based on use case, it could be installed in the Platform Layer, especially if WMI data is modified.
NOTE: In one case Tanium was executing a WMI scan which was disabling, breaking counters. Tanium was
going to create a fix for this.
3) For User Layer(UL) deployments:
a) Work with Tanium to determine how to notify when updates are available, then install in the image, app layer.
Allowing the user to update, in the UL disk, may result in future user sessions being unstable, possibly not
b) An additional step is needed, to prevent capturing of excessive data in the user’s, UL disk, please contact
