Incorrect Password, Unable to Login
If you are unable to login to your ShareFile account because the password is incorrect, request a link to reset your password from the login screen.
Refer to CTX208278 – How to Reset ShareFile Password for detailed instructions.
“You Do Not Have Permission to Change Password for the Below Account(s)”
You might see the message “You do not have permission to change password for the below account(s)” if you do not have permissions to change your ShareFile password.
In this case, you will need to contact your ShareFile administrator. Refer to: CTX239979 – ShareFile Error: “You Do Not Have Permission to Change Password for the Below Account(s)”
Unable to login to ShareFile – Authentication Error
Try the following workarounds:
- Try logging in using your browser’s Incognito or Private mode.
- If you are able to log in using Incognito or Private mode, clear cache, and cookies and try logging in again.
- Try logging into secure.sharefile.com and then try to login to your direct domain. (Also try this in Incognito).
- Try resetting the password and then try steps 1 and 2.
- Try a different browser.
