To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Run Isinteg to detect and repair database inconsistencies. Run it with the alltests option to see what will be fixed. Before you run with -fix option, make sure that you have a good backup. Be aware that the length of time that you need to complete the tests will depend on the size of your databases. Contact Microsoft Product Support Services for help with running the Isinteg utility. For more information about how to contact support, visit the Microsoft Help and Support Web site.

  • For more information about the Isinteg utility for Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange Server version 5.5, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 182081, Description of the Isinteg utility.

If you are not already doing so, consider running the tools that Microsoft Exchange offers to help administrators analyze and troubleshoot their Exchange environment. These tools can help you make sure that your configuration is in line with Microsoft best practices. They can also help you identify and resolve performance issues, improve mail flow, and better manage disaster recovery scenarios. Go to the Toolbox node of the Exchange Management Console to run these tools now. For more information about these tools, see Toolbox in the Exchange Server 2007 Help.
