This Error event indicates that the version of store.exe running on the server is older than the version of store.exe that last accessed the Information Store database. This event is frequently logged if you rebuild a Microsoft® Exchange server without also installing the service packs or hotfixes that were installed on the original server.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Return the server to the version of store.exe that was running the last time that the information store was operational.

  • Contact Microsoft Product Support Services. For information about contacting support, visit the Contact Us page of the Microsoft Help and Support Web site.
