Explanation

This event is invariably seen with a source of “MSExchangeIS Public Store” and it occurs when there is an inability to create a Public Folder. This is typically caused by permissions problems. For example, the permissions on the following object may have been misconfigured, intentionally or erroneously:

CN=Public Folders,CN=Folder Hierarchies,CN=<administrative_group>,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=<ORGANIZATION>,CN=Microsoft
Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=<ORGANIZATION>,DC=com

Occasionally, this event may be seen when a user (USER A) reads postings from a folder owned by another user (USER B). If this is the situation, the event can be safely ignored.

User Action

Ensure that the permissions are configured correctly on the object mentioned above.
