The routing table may have to be rebuilt. The routing table contains all the information that the message transfer agent (MTA) needs to determine how to route messages. A possible cause of this event is the re-installation of Windows without re-installing Exchange. |

User Action | |
This user action assumes that the Site Replication Service is installed. In the Administrator window of the Exchange 5.5 server, on the General property page of the X.400 object, choose Recalculate Routing. On the Exchange 2000 server, stop and restart the routing engine. If this event was a result of re-installing Windows, then you may have to re-install Exchange server. Run \support\utils\i386\smtpreinstall.exe from the Exchange CD. Make sure that the latest Exchange server service pack is installed. |
