Message: %1 (%2) %3The signature of logfile %4 does not match other logfiles. Recovery cannot succeed unless all signatures match. Logfiles %5 to %6 have been deleted.

Explanation

This Warning event indicates that the signature of the log file does not match other log files. Recovery cannot succeed unless all signatures match. A new set of log files has been generated in the storage group since the time of backup and the signature on these does not match the log files from the backup.

User Action

To resolve this warning, remove the log files that do not match. This may invalidate previous backups for other databases in the storage group. Do not delete removed log files until verifying that all databases in the storage group can be mounted after removal.

If you are not already doing so, consider running the tools that Microsoft Exchange offers to help administrators analyze and troubleshoot their Exchange environment. These tools can help you make sure that your configuration is in line with Microsoft best practices. They can also help you identify and resolve performance issues, improve mail flow, and better manage disaster recovery scenarios. Go to the Toolbox node of the Exchange Management Console to run these tools now. For more information about these tools, see Toolbox in the Exchange Server 2007 Help.
