Retain Publisher – PST Export
When exporting data to a PST using the Retain Publisher/Viewer, an error occurs:
No messages get exported.
Use the following steps to resolve the error:
- Update Retain to the most current build, and download newest version of the Retain Publisher. Upgrade Retain.
- Uninstall Microsoft Office.
- Remove all registry settings of Microsoft Office. Manually Uninstalling Office.
- Reinstall Office.
Microsoft Office is a prerequisite for the Retain Viewer PST Export feature to work. In some occasions, when Office is installed before the Retain Publisher, the Export will not be able to see the libraries, and see that Microsoft Office is installed.
