|Message:||WMI ADAP was unable to process the %1 performance library since one of the data blobs reported to have classes but had zero size.|
Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) automatically processes all performance counters to create Common Information Model (CIM) classes that represent each performance counter. The performance counters can be viewed in the perfmon.exe utility. When a specific performance library cannot supply the information about which performance counters it publishes, the counters are not available through WMI. In many cases, this is because the service publishing the performance counter is not running, or because there is a bug in the service’s performance library.
Verify that the service that publishes the performance counter is running, and then force WMI to resynchronize with the performance library. To force resynchronization, at the command prompt, typewmiadap.exe /r
If the error continues, there is a problem with the performance library itself.
There is an issue with using the .NET Framework to expose performance counters. For more information about custom performance counters being unable to publish performance data, see article 307515 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (see the following Related Knowledge Base Articles section).
For more information about performance counters and WMI, see the MSDN article Moving Performance Library Counters into WMI Classes.
