We configured a data protection rule and it notifies email senders when files are quarantined.
Also, there is another notificatio option on the Email Quarantine page. It is “Users can view quarantined messages in Email Quarantine interface and summary notifications for the following services”. Whether users will be notified if the Data Protection is unclicked from this option?
We are having an unusual issue when sending emails to a domain protected by Symantec cloud (although they are also having the same issue sending to us)
We have our email hosted by Office 365. Any emails going to them that has our HTML signature on get rejected by Symantec cloud with the error:
550 5.0.350 Remote server returned an error -> 553 Message filtered. Refer to the Troubleshooting page at;http://www.symanteccloud.com/troubleshooting for more;information. (#5.7.1)
Incidentally, the people we are trying to email get the same error when they try to email us with their HTML signatures in the emails.
Any emails sent to or from us/them without the HTML signatures send fine.
Is there anybody who can assist with this? We have the original email headers if they are needed including the x-forefront-antispam-report: and x-microsoft-antispam:
Why is it that there is a top 10 list or top 5 or top 20 for malware, data protection, etc., but there is no top 10 list for the top domains sending with the most emal volume? I do not get that. I don’t want the top sending spam domains, just the top 10 email volume sending domains.
Some customers of the company that use the Email Security.cloud tool are not able to send email to our company.
The query has already been released in our DNS according to the documentation “https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.INFO4532.html“
How can I solve this problem?
I have a customer for Email Security cloud, He have Office 365 , one exchange server onpremise and one server smtp from where he send 22000 emails dialily.
i had had thinking take the ip public from the two servers onpremise into Email Security Cloud like relay servers , both use the same ip public to send the email currently, them last step its a barrucada server, but i dont sure if the amount emails could be filtering by Email security cloud ,i found this post and this say that only there is restriction by connection dont by number emails .
When sending bulk emails through the Email Security.Cloud product, the number of individual emails sent per SMTP connection is limited to 100.
(this is not the same as the number of recipients on a single email message)
If more than 100 emails need to be sent at once, it needs to be broken into separate SMTP connections. This can be done in some mail programs, especially ones built around managing distribution lists, or by using an outside bulk mailer service.
its say i can send one email to with 22000 recipients but i dont cant send 22000 correo with 4 recipients each one. ¿rigth?
Too the customer have 3 domains currently ,but they will add 3 more , there is some number max to Domain checks?, and i have to ask the customer if all them use the same MX register for the inbound email ¿rigth ?
We have a sister company/corporate user being block when sending email to us internally. It is passed through Google, our spam filtering but gets bounced back as phishing. This is not the case and we need this email to arrive. Is there a means for me to whitelist this user or better yet all emails from our corporate domain?
