Re: Unable to boot to utility partition on VNX5300, help!

System is out of warranty and a lab system, its working but i want to reload the image on it because some configuration won’t let me delete it.

I boot it up with serial cable attached, and hit ctrl-c and per “Backrev Array” solution it’s supposed to do a Minisetup and reboot a few times. It never reboots it just sits at the “int13 – EXTENDED READ (4000)” and never goes further.

I rebooted it manually myself and try to start the process again but I just get this… any ideas?

How do I Set Specific SSL Protocols on XenMobile Server 10.6

By default, TLSv1, TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2 protocols are enabled. To enable or disable protocols:

  • Open the XenMobile CLI, choose [2] System, and choose [12] Advanced Settings.

  • Choose [3] SSL protocols.

  • At the New SSL Protocols to enable prompt, type the protocols, separated by a comma, that you want to enable. Any protocols not included will be disabled. For example: To disable TLSv1, type TLSv1.2,TLSv1.1 and then type y to restart XenMobile Server

In this example, the NetScaler was configured for TLSv1.2 only and the XenMobile server was configured for TLSv1 and TLSv1.1

The following error might be displayed on the devices:

Re: Unity: Can we send an alert email test from CLI?

I found no way to do this thru the cli.

/event/alert/conf — shows the following options – show and set only – no option for test

[Show]

/event/alert/conf show [ -output { nvp | csv | table [ -wrap ] } ] [ { -brief | -detail | -filter <value> } ]

[Set]

/event/alert/conf set [ -emailFromAddr <value> ] [ -emailToAddrs <value> ] [ -emailSeverity { info | notice | warning

| error | critical } ] [ -snmpSeverity { info | notice | warning | error | critical } ] [ -showAllPoolThresholdAlerts {

yes | no } ]

/sys/support/connecthome test – has a test option but if you have ESRS enabled you will get this message – Cannot enable connect home when ESRS is enabled – if you try to enable connecthome

You might need to ask for a feature request to get it added to the cli

IIB Developer addition installing as “advanced” mode

**This Q&A is abstracted from a PMR**

I installed IIB 10.0.0.X developer edition on my environment but when I review the Integration node properties, it is in “advanced” operation mode.

mqsireportbroker TESTNODE
BIP8927I: Integration node name ‘TESTNODE’
Last mqsistart path = ‘C:Program FilesIBMIIB10.0.0.10server’
mqsiprofile install path = ‘C:Program FilesIBMIIB10.0.0.10server
Work path = ‘C:ProgramDataIBMMQSI’
.
.
.
**Operation mode = ‘advanced’**
.
.
.

I’ve tried resetting the operation mode for the Integration node to “developer” but that does not seem to be allowed.

*mqsimode TESTNODE -o developer*
*BIP1033E: Invalid parameters.*

*The following flag(s) are invalid, missing, or cannot be used together: ‘-o developer’.
Reissue the command specifying valid options and flags.
BIP1801I: Views or changes modes of operation*

How can I set the “developer” mode in my Integration node?

Facing issue with “apic” commands while automating apiconnect using shell script in devops pipeline service

Hello,
I am trying to automate the apiconnect deployment via using devops continuous delivery service wherein I am writing a shell script to do that. I have installed the apiconnect toolkit plugin which installed successfully but I am facing issues with apic command. Earlier I was getting a message to accept the license for apiconnect that is resolved after using **apic –accept-license** But I am also getting below message whenever i try to execute any normal command via apic :

**? Help us help you! By providing the API Connect customer excellence team with

product based on your feedback. If you don’t like it, you can always disable

yes ?25l?25h**

Even, I tried to publish product into existing catalog via shell script as well as by my own machine command prompt. It works with command prompt but it doesn’t work with shell script and logs above message in the job.

Could you please suggest how to execute apic commands using shell script? Also, suggest how to remove the above message?
Thanks in advance!!
