My Citrix Files for Outlook isn't working with my other add-ons or antivirus

Incompatible Add-Ins or Services

Citrix Files for Outlook is not supported with any 3rd party service or add-in and cannot be guaranteed to function properly when used in conjunction with other add-ins. This includes meta-data scrubbers, SmartVault, iTunes, Grammarly and other add-ins. While frequently encountered add-ins may be specifically mentioned in this article, this article should not be treated as a final list of incompatible add-ins.

Some antivirus programs will not allow Citrix Files for Outlook to be installed. See the Solution section for more information.

Outlook Add-in Problem

I need a solution

We had someone get a message from Outlook saying that the SEP 12 Outlook plug-in caused a decrease in performance, giving them the option to disable it.

I have a few questions:

1. If the general SEP is protecting the memory and disk from malware, what is the Outlook plug-in doing in addtion to that?

2. Can we run a report to show machines where the SEP Outlook plugin is disabled?

3. Can we run a report to to show machines where any SEP functionality is disabled?

Error: “3006” on Firefox and Safari Web Browsers When Using NetScaler Gateway EPA Scan

This issue is observed when the NetScaler Gateway plug-in is not installed on the client computer. The NetScaler Gateway plug-in must be installed before performing EPA scans. The NetScaler Gateway plug-in installer includes a fragment of the EPA components. The installer registers this fragment with the 32-bit EPA COM server (nsepa.exe) and the NPAPI plugin DLL, 32-bit or 64-bit, as appropriate.

If a Gecko-based web browser, such as Firefox is already installed, the NPAPI plugin DLL is copied to the Mozilla Plugins folder under the application data folder of the user. For example, the plugin DLL is copied to the C:Documents and Settings<username>Application DataMozillaPlugins folder. If a Gecko-based web browser is not installed, Citrix plugins are registered to ensure that the plugins are discovered by the browser when it is installed.
