I need a solution
We’re having problems with SMTP alerts on Management Center. For some reason Management Center doens’t appear to be sending email alerts when there is an alert on the box. We have the checked the box to “Raise alerst on device errors” and when we take down one of the boxes management by Management Center, an alert fires. We have set the “SMTP alert” settings and also the “Mail Settings” but we are getting no email about the alert.
We have tested the SMTP server with email alerts on one of the Content Analysis Systems and it works fine. We are seeing no SMTP traffic on the network from the Management Center IP.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
