Check Out icon missing after checking out files in Drive Mapper

It is best to uninstall some of the programs that use icon overlays to restore icons to ShareFile. If multiple programs are installed that use icon overlays, ShareFile icons will not display.

Icon Overlay Identifiers in the Registry are visible at the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShellIconOverlayIdentifiers

If the issue isn’t resolved by uninstalling other programs using icon overlays, try the following steps:

  1. Open Task Manager
  2. Right-click Windows Explorer and select Restart
  3. Open regedit.exe and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShellIconOverlayIdentifiers
  4. Right-click DMCheckoutOverlayIcon and rename it to start with numeric or several blank characters to bump up the priority.

Afterwards restart Windows Explorer. If none of the steps above solve the issue, uninstall the applications that use overlays and repeat steps 1 through 4.
