If the issue isn’t resolved by uninstalling other programs using icon overlays, try the following steps:
- Open Task Manager
- Right-click Windows Explorer and select Restart
- Open regedit.exe and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShellIconOverlayIdentifiers
- Right-click DMCheckoutOverlayIcon and rename it to start with numeric or several blank characters to bump up the priority.
Afterwards restart Windows Explorer. If none of the steps above solve the issue, uninstall the applications that use overlays and repeat steps 1 through 4.
