This Error event indicates that a problem occurred when you saved a calendar entry using Microsoft® Office Outlook® Web Access. This event may occur when one or more of the following registry entries are missing on the server running Microsoft Exchange Server that logged this event:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeFBPublish

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeFBPublish\Parameters

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeFBPublish\Parameters\server_name

To resolve this error, take one or more of the following steps:

  • Follow the steps detailed in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 310440, You receive an “unable to perform the operation” error message when you save Calendar items in Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003.

These tools can help you make sure that your configuration is in line with Microsoft best practices. They can also help you identify and resolve performance issues, improve mail flow, and better manage disaster recovery scenarios.
