|Message:||%1 (%2) There were %3 log file(s) not found in the log range (%4 – %5) that we attempted to truncate.|
This event is generated after a successful online backup (Ntbackup.exe) of the Active node in an environment that has a cluster continuous replication (CCR) as a standby continuous replication (SCR) source.
SCR supports backups of the SCR source only. An SCR target’s database headers will be updated and the log files will be truncated when a supported backup is taken against the SCR source storage group. If the SCR source storage group is enabled for CCR or local continuous replication (LCR), the SCR target’s database headers will be updated and the log files will be truncated when backups are taken against either the active or passive copies of the SCR source storage group.
No user action is required.
For more information about standby continuous replication, see Planning for Standby Continuous Replication.
If you are not already doing so, consider running the tools that Microsoft Exchange offers to help administrators analyze and troubleshoot their Exchange environment. These tools can help you make sure that your configuration is in line with Microsoft best practices. They can also help you identify and resolve performance issues, improve mail flow, and better manage disaster recovery scenarios. Go to the Toolbox node of the Exchange Management Console to run these tools now. For more information about these tools, see Toolbox in the Exchange Server 2007 Help.
