解決策:

※本コンテンツはKB527741 – SRS REST API Enabled devices can’t register with SRS Gateway, https error 500 found in SRS GW /var/log/esrs/devicemanagement.log fileをベースにしています

Dell EMCのSingle Sign On用アカウント(=オンラインサポートサイトログイン用アカウント)のパスワードを変更し、「~ ! @ % ^ * ( ) > { } [ ] + $ & / ? ; , . | ‘ ” = ` < # “」の特殊文字を利用しないようにすることで問題は解決します。

(パスワード変更はhttps://support.emc.com/preferences/から実施可能です)

本問題はSingle Sign On用のパスワードポリシーとScure Remote Services(旧ESRS)のパスワードポリシーに差異があることが原因であると判断されています。

上記30種類の特殊文字は、Single Sign On用のパスワードとしてオンラインサポートサイトのアカウント作成時やパスワード変更時に許容されてしまいますが、Secure Remote Services(旧ESRS)設定時には許容されません。

Secure Remote Services(旧ESRS)のご利用を予定されているお客様は、前述のKB527741に記載がある以下ガイドラインに従いパスワードを決定/設定して頂けますようお願いいたします。

  • 最低8文字(=8文字以上)
  • 最低一つの大文字と一つの小文字を含む
  • 最低一つの数字を含む
  • 最低一つの「_(アンダースコア)」もしくは「-(ダッシュ)」を含む(参考:KBからの直訳は「最低一つの特殊文字を含む、しかしそれらは「_(アンダースコア)」もしくは「-(ダッシュ)」に限る」)
