Explanation | |
This Information event indicates that Microsoft® Exchange Active Directory® Provider discovered all the available domain controllers together with a set of attributes which are used to build the Active Directory topology. The domain controllers are discovered both from the local site and available remote sites. The decision to use remote sites depends on site link cost. For more information about site link cost and Active Directory replication, see How Active Directory Replication Topology Works. This Information event is logged when the diagnostic level of the Topology category on the MSExchangeADAccess service is set to Minimum. Note By default, in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, the diagnostic level of the Topology category on the MSExchangeADAccess service is set to Minimum. Exchange Active Directory Provider rediscovers the Active Directory topology every 15 minutes. Therefore it is typical to see this event in the Application log every 15 minutes. For more information about the attributes mentioned in the event description, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 316300, Event ID 2080 from MSExchangeDSAccess. |
