Receiver for Windows: Printer port mapping (LPT) not working on Windows 10 1803 & 1809 clients

On Windows 10 1803 Spring Creators Update and Windows 1809 with VDA 7.15 CU3 users are unable to printing to LPT ports on the clients.

Printing with the ICA session works fine. Only printing doesn’t work using LPT printing.

Example

net use LPT1 \banpprint01blr_canon

C:UsersroshanrajkDesktop>print /d:lpt1 test.txt

C:UsersroshanrajkDesktoptest.txt is currently being printed

C:UsersroshanrajkDesktop>net use

New connections will be remembered.

The command completed successfully.

The above setup work fine with Windows 10 1709 Build.

Hello everyone.

I’m working with the 8.1.8-37119.ova simulator

I have followed the manual Configuring and Managing CIFS on VNX.pdf and i create a CIFS server standalone with local users

Change the administator password (after changing to server_param server_2 -facility cifs -modify nullSession -value 1)



I add entries in lmhost and host files for CIFS server

Next I type net use \ cslocal / user: administrator, then password. Command successfully

Computer Mangement- Connect to another computer. I can view shares and add users and groups, but I can not add users to groups since it does not find the object. If in the window of Select Users I click on Advanced Options and I choose “users”- then Find, it gives me the error “Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name are not allowed. connections to the server or shared resource and try again “.

What I’m missing
