The purpose of this message is to inform the user that they have crossed the threshold for the number of documents their license provides. Below are additional details on document limits per plan:
RightSignature accounts provide 100 documents per month per user. For example, RightSignature account with 5 user licenses will have an account maximum monthly document quota of 500 documents.
An individual user is not capped at 100 documents. Users can send more documents by clicking the “X” in the top-right to bypass the message. The only consequence of sending more documents is the remaining users on the account will no longer have their fair share of 100 documents each.
A “Sent document” consists of any document sent on the account whether or not the document has been signed, is in a pending state, or has been deleted.
If you continue receive this error after verifying that you have sufficient licenses, attempt the same action in an alternate web browser. If the message still displays in the alternate browser, please reach out to support for assistance.

It is recommended that you follow point 4 above before moving on to create a new profile. Rename the folder that you can’t expand in Outlook. Right-click on the folder and select the Rename option to do so. Take a backup, if you must. If you have taken a backup on the server or in the cloud, delete the profile the below mentioned:
Of course, the Username above and the drive letter should be your corresponding user name and Windows installation drive. Reboot your computer.
Open Outlook and under the Files menu, click on Account Settings > Manage Profiles.
Click on Show Profiles.
Click on Add to begin creating a new profile.
You can now add email accounts to this newly created profile and check if you still get the Cannot expand folder error.
6. Repair PST and OST File
The Outlook email account data is stored in a .PST file if you are using IMAP or POP account. The same is stored in a .OST file if you are using Office 365 or Exchange account. Depending on the email account throwing the Cannot expand folder error in Outlook app, choose one method.
Repair OST File
Open Control Panel and go to User Account > Mail > Show Profiles. Select the profile you are having trouble with and click on Properties below. Now select Data Files in the pop-up that follows.
Select the email account data file and click on Open File Location.
A new window will open with a file name with .OST extension. Delete the file and reboot your computer. Launch Outlook and it will recreate the file automatically.
Repair PST File
The same steps won’t work for .PST file. Press Windows key+R to open the Run prompt. Enter the below file path in case of Office 2016, Office 2019, and Office 365.
C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficerootOffice16
For Outlook 2013:
C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice15
Double-click the SCANPST.EXE file, which will launch the Microsoft Outlook Inbox Repair experience. I wish there was a direct way of launching it.
Click on Browse on the pop-up that follows.
A new File Explorer window will open. You need to locate the .PST file here and when you find it, click on the Start button.
Select ‘Make a backup of scanned file before repairing’ option to create a backup in case something goes wrong.
Now click on Repair to begin the process.

The ShareFile Desktop App allows access to Personal Cloud Connectors such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Box. If this feature is enabled for your account, access these locations via the Navigation drop-down menu. Please note that your ability to download files within these connectors depends on your permissions in those locations.
You may download files from the other services. You can also use the Copy function to copy the data to a location within your ShareFile account.
Note: Not all file and folder actions are available for files stored in other cloud storage services.
Microsoft Outlook, at times, is known to give an error saying — The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable, Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action. In this post, we will show how you can fix this problem and get back it to working as usual.
The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable, Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action
There are two ways to fix tjis issue. First, create a new default profile. Second, Delete the default profile. Not many have multiple Outlook profiles is not always an option. So use the second method as follows:
Delete Default Profile
Create a New Outlook Profile
Update or create your Outlook profile with RPC encryption
Disable the encryption requirement on all CAS servers
Deploy a Group Policy setting to update existing Outlook profiles with RPC encryption
The first, three can be configured by the end-user, while the last two are only for Servers.
1] Delete Default Profile
Launch Outlook, and then click on Info > Account settings dropdown > Manage Profile
It will open the Mail Setup window. Click on Show Profiles button.
Delete the default profile by clicking on the Remove button.
When you remove the profile, all offline cached content for its account will be removed. However, you can backup the OST profile to reuse it.
When you relaunch Outlook, you will have to create a new profile, and then go through the setup process again.
2] Create a New Outlook Profile
If you do not want to delete, you can create a new default profile. At the Mail Setup > Profiles section, you can click on the Add button, and then give a name to the profile. Next, you need to add the email accounts you want to add. Make sure to properly configure the email account, so the error doesn’t reappear. Also, make sure to set that as the default profile.
3] Update or create your Outlook profile with RPC encryption
Most of the users have all email accounts under one single profile. One of the email accounts may be having trouble with that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, or Microsoft Exchange Server 2016. These are usually corporate accounts that haven’t been configured properly.
Launch Outlook, and then click on Info > Account settings dropdown > Manage Profile
Click on E-mail Accounts > select the email which is configured with Exchange Server, and then click on Change > More Settings
In the Microsoft Exchange window, switch to Security tab
Select Encrypt data between Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Exchange.
Click Ok and exit
It should fix the issue if it were because of RPC encryption error.
4] Disable the encryption requirement on all CAS servers
This part is specifically for IT admins who can disable encryption requirements. Microsoft warns that it should be only used where you cannot immediately deploy the necessary RPC encryption settings on your Outlook clients. Run the following command in the Exchange Management Shell:
Set-RpcClientAccess –Server <Exchange server name> –EncryptionRequired:$False
You must run this cmdlet for all Client Access servers that are running Exchange Server 2010 or later version. Rerun this command for each Exchange server that has the Client Access Server role. Also, make sure to disable RPC encryption, which we talked about in the above step.
However, make sure to enable it back again after deployment with changes to the RPC requirement on the Outlook.
5] Deploy a Group Policy setting to update existing Outlook profiles with RPC encryption
You can also change RPC settings on the server-side by using Group Policy. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Office “Version number” > Account Settings > Exchange. Locate policy Enable RPC encryption and disable it.
We hope these methods helped you to resolve Outlook connected issues with Microsoft Exchange.
The UA is not serving up a username when connecting to Onedrive (per screenshot info) and therefore is unable to check if the user is in our policy group, causing denial. This is only occuring with Onedrive and no other websites that I’m aware of. The policy blocking Onedrive is by the File Storage/Sharing Category.
For a little more info on our Policy, we have one setup to allow all File Storage/Sharing sites, and when I add a user to this group, all websites work just fine with the exception of Onedrive.
This is occuring on all OS, fresh UA installs, different browers, etc… Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
